What the course covers
Theory Group A and Group B, Types 1 and 3. Designed to align with 29 CFR 1910.67 and 1926.451-454, ANSI/SAIA A92.20, A92.22 and A92.24.

Hands-on requirement
Before operating, the employer must provide a hands-on practical evaluation by a qualified person and familiarization on each MEWP make and model, and authorize the operator.
Price
$25 per seat, only with a forklift seat ($69) or for existing forklift students. You get a second certificate and the same wallet card.

- $25 per seat, sold only as an add-on with forklift training.
- Format
- Self-paced online training in English or Spanish. Start anytime on a computer, tablet or phone.
- Equipment covered
- OSHA powered industrial truck classes 1–6.
- Final exam
- 70% or higher to pass. Retakes are free and unlimited.
- What you get
- A digital certificate when you pass, plus a wallet card mailed to you.
- Validity
- 3 years. Operator performance must be evaluated at least once every three years under 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(iii).
- Employer's part
- The employer completes the workplace-specific practical evaluation before the operator works independently. We provide the evaluation form.
- Verification
- Employers can check any certificate at oshaoperator.com/verify.
- Refunds
- A full refund is available within 20 days of purchase, and only until your wallet card is printed.
Questions
Can I buy MEWP on its own?
No. It is only sold with a forklift seat, or to signed-in students who already have forklift training.
Is this a full MEWP qualification?
No. It is formal instruction (theory). Your employer must still do the practical evaluation and familiarization.
Do team discounts apply?
No. The add-on is a flat $25 per seat and does not count toward forklift volume pricing.
