How Team Forklift Training Seats Work: Pricing, Scheduling and Records

A plain walkthrough of buying forklift training for a crew online: the seat price tiers, how operators access the self-paced online training, and what the employer gets back.

If you need to train several operators, you can buy seats for the whole crew in one order. This post walks through how that works, what it costs, and what you get back as the employer.

    Seat pricing

Prices drop as the seat count rises. The tier applies automatically at checkout — no discount code needed.

    SeatsPrice per seatExample total
    1$49$49
    2–9$452 seats: $90
    10–24$4210 seats: $420
    25–49$3925 seats: $975
    50+$3550 seats: $1,750

These are team (employer) seat prices. An individual who enrolls themselves pays $69.

For 75 or more operators, request a quote.

For comparison, on-site in-person forklift training typically runs about $150–$200 per operator. That is a typical industry range, not a quote from any specific provider — check local prices for your area.

    How operators take the class

Each seat covers self-paced online training for powered industrial truck classes 1–6. Sessions run twice a day, Monday through Friday, morning and afternoon. Operators can join from a computer, tablet or phone, with no travel and no equipment needed.

The session covers pre-operation inspection, load handling, the stability triangle, pedestrian safety, refueling and battery charging, and the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 requirements. Right after the class there is a multiple-choice exam; 70% passes, and retakes are free and unlimited.

    What the employer gets back

    • A digital certificate for each operator the moment they pass
    • A printed wallet card mailed to each operator
    • The practical evaluation form your evaluator completes on site
    • An employer dashboard where each operator's training record can be downloaded as a PDF, and the roster exported as CSV

    Refunds

A full refund is available within 20 days of purchase, and only until your wallet card is printed.

    Getting a quote

If you would rather have a written quote first, you can request a quote. Quotes are handled by email, and we reply within one business day. To buy now, go to team seats, or price out your crew with the cost calculator.

OSHA Operator is a private training provider and is not affiliated with OSHA or the U.S. Department of Labor. Employers remain responsible for the practical evaluation and certification of each operator.
